Unprecedented times. How you can help.

Dear Friends of the Diocese of Albany Catholic Schools:
As COVID-19 sweeps our nation, we watch as our families, students and educators adjust to an unprecedented world of remote learning and “social distancing.”
Unfortunately, many of our parents and guardians have experienced sudden severe hardship from an unexpected disruption of income, medical bills and other related challenges, creating an urgent need for tuition relief.
The Catholic School Office has initiated the COVID-19 Tuition Relief Fund to help struggling families meet their tuition expenses. Please consider supporting
these families-in-need with your tax- deductible donation. If you wish to designate a specific diocesan school to receive your donation, please identify that school in the NOTES section located on the payment page. On behalf of the Albany Diocesan Catholic Schools that are located throughout the greater Capital Region, we thank you for your consideration and ask that you keep our school communities in your prayers.
May God bless you and keep you safe during these difficult times.

On the bright side, our school communities have risen to the challenge of distance learning in some creative ways:
The kindergarten classes at St. Mary’s School in Waterford took part in an online Show and Tell last Friday. Seeing all the smiling faces at once was a treat! The students at St. Mary’s-St. Alphonsus Regional Catholic School are treated to a virtual story hour called “Tuck-In Tonight”. The Catholic Central High School Softball team had some socially distant fun together while they keep school spirit alive. You can watch the video here.
